My girlfriend got invited to a screening of this movie and though I tried to wiggle my way out of it, I was trapped into going. Walking into the theater with the worst possible predisposition, I have to admit I left smiling.
There isn’t anything particularly groundbreaking or “Oscar worthy” in ‘Crazy, Stupid, Love’, but what there is is a good deal of heart, some genuine laughs, and a great chemistry-laden cast working together on a very high level.
There are some major issues regarding this film which I would like to address, they are the reason for my extraordinarily low ranking, which would have been even lower if I had not thought it disrespectful to those actors who did their job very well (against all odds).
After perusing other reviews for this movie, I believe that many of the ratings are low, not because viewers disliked the movie, but because they disliked the element in which the film shines.
