I have no idea why this film is classified as a horror. It’s a slow-paced borderline thriller with a bit of slasher material. It’s ordinary and unoriginal, but still somewhat watchable at least.

Saw this in the cinema and loved it. It defies definition… so I’ll try. It’s about a soul on the brink of death, being passed from body to body and experiencing other possible existences. (But I could be wrong.)

Steven Spielberg has assembled many fantastic movies, like Schindler’s List, Jaws, E.T, Saving Private Ryan, etc. His new creation, War Horse is a stunning achievement. The film was professionally made, it looked amazing, sounded great. Legendary composer, John Williams crafted an amazing and beautiful score. It was one of the best, I’ve heard in years.

Dream House had plenty of potential with its story, despite the fact that it’s completely derivative of two other movies. Revealing those films would spoil the surprise, as they are both popular and well-received by audiences and critics alike. The shame is not in the copycat techniques but rather in the failure to exploit the stolen ideas to the fullest extent. Dream House fuses the plots cleverly, but fizzles when the first big reveal can be guessed 45 minutes in (if not sooner) – and is then purposely betrayed at the one hour mark so that audiences can ponder and digest the not-so-shocking revelation.

This was the most ridiculous book adaptation I have ever seen. I know movies are never as good as the book. I have read the Twilight books several times and seen the other 3 movies numerous time. I liked them all. Stephenie Meyer should be ashamed of herself for allowing this to be put out.
